WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

"Living the Resurrection Life"

This Sunday is sometimes called the Good Shepherd Sunday.  It is called that because it is the Sunday where Psalm 23 and John 10 are the passages used by the Revised Common Lectionary as the scripture lessons for the day.  John referring to Jesus as the Good Shepherd and Psalm 23 which so many know as a psalm of comfort during life's most distressing times are the foundation for this Sunday's message.  These 2 passages that comfort us and lull us into a false sense of security will get a bit more scrutiny this week.

"LIVING THE RESURRECTION LIFE" causes us to look at these passages a little differently.  We hear a message that tells a bit of a different story and calls each of us to a slightly different response.  I guess that means you may want to join us in-person or turn to our YouTube channel on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. to hear the details!!!

Register to worship with us in person OR join us online as we live stream worship on our Woodridge UMC YouTube Channel.

Woodridge UMC is an open and loving United Methodist community striving to:

Welcoming to all;
Uniting in service toward greater social justice for all;
Moving forward with understanding and acceptance of all peoples;
Creating disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Our purpose is to offer a safe place and community to all races, cultures, religions, genders, sexual identities, ethnicities, age groups and other beliefs.
